Overview: "The Chair Project" is an invitational collaborative artwork curated by Susan Linnet Cox. A select group of artists was invited in 2002 to select a portion of this oversized chair and paint (or otherwise decorate) it. The curated piece has an undetermined future. It can be used as functional piece of furniture. Susan Linnet Cox is actively seeking exhibition venues for the finished chair. Documentation of the process as well as biographical information and selected works by each of the contributing artists will form the exhibition.
