A blend of wit, nostalgia, and morbidity underscores the artwork of Susan Linnet Cox. Since her childhood in Pittsburgh, Susan has lived in many parts of the US including Ohio, Oregon, Florida, and California. The light and colors, whether bright or dark, influenced the depth and scope of Susan's artwork. An interest in maps and geography goes hand in hand with such travel. Her current series of Geography Tubes are the result of years of transitions.

She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Kent State University and has worked as a waitress, teacher, graphic designer, and art director of fashion photo shoots. Susan presently is a photo stylist and producer of photo shoots. Her company, Cox Productions has worked with catalogs, magazines, home products, and sports companies.

Recently Susan has completed a book about the career, "Photo Styling, How to Build Your Career and Succeed," published by Allworth Press. And she teaches workshops - both in San Diego and online - to share her profession with new stylists. She co-owns a stock photography company, Mistral Images, with her husband Gary. She lives in San Diego and has an adult daughter, Elizabeth.
